Betrayal Trauma Practitioner
Mr. Jay is a Betrayal Trauma Practitioner and Intrapersonal Relationship Coach. He holds a master's degree in education, is a certified special-education teacher, ministry credentialed, and an inspirational public speaker. He is the author of a children's book, “I Am Loved Right Where I Am”, and a betrayal trauma healing journal, "From Tears To Transformation." He is a proud veteran of the United Stated military, and even more proud adoptive parent.
Mr. Jay began his career in teaching as a substitute kindergarten teacher. He rose the ranks, ultimately teaching and getting certified in elementary, middle, and high school, specializing in teaching students with various special needs. After a decade of teaching, and another decade as a full-time stay-at-home dad, Mr. Jay was called into the mental health field and now works as a Betrayal Trauma Practitioner. To serve his clients, Mr. Jay helps and supports each individual and/or couple move through the stages from betrayal to breakthrough. Mr. Jay helps his clients recognize that, “with hard work, determination, and willingness, you can still have your happily EVEN after.”
During his downtime, Mr. Jay enjoys roller-skating, listening to music, officiating weddings, singing at local charities/events, public speaking, and watching an occasional guilty pleasure crime show.
Mr. Jay is a family man and enjoys showing his children the beauty of life. With all of his collective life experiences, Mr. Jay lives by the motto, “We are all beautifully broken, but even broken crayons can create amazing masterpieces.”
